She's Here! | Journee's Arrival

It's so surreal... I'm usually shooting and posting pics of someone else's baby and now I am blessed to share some of my own lil angel. It's been a long time coming. God only knows... After losing my first child, Zaiyah, photography truly became my outlet and passion. It was my therapy and definitely a way to heal. Now today, 2011,  I have been given the chance to combine both. My talent (def God's gift) and my hearts desire (my daughter). I want to thank everyone who has been a part of this journey. And to those who have or havent yet met my JOURNEE, here she is :)

Its been tough recovering and getting adjusted to motherhood, but my photography instincts are a bit more keen and polished lol. So I did manage to shoot my baby girl.

    I just wanted you to know tha those words were absolutely BEAUTIFUL.. you brought me to tears. You wil be a GREAT mother its instinct (so I heard). I'm sure she will be a little DIVA like u. Congrats on your new BUNDLE of joy, may she bring you many smile and cheerful days!!!
